Need quiet time away from your busy life to rest & listen to your deeper self
Are recovering from illness and are looking for a gentle practice
Are suffering from stress, depression, anxiety, or any modern day strains
Understand that being relaxed is your preferred state but that getting there requires practice
Yin Yoga involves simple postures held mindfully for a minimum of three minutes, giving the body time to yield and the mind time to still. It works on the meridian lines bringing effective healing to the body. All the postures can be modified using props (cushions, bolsters, block and blankets) so this is an extremely accessible practice for all levels.
Yoga Nidra is like a deep sleep while you are still awake. This ancient practice combats stress, helps ease conditions like chronic fatigue and insomnia, and brings joy, contentment & wholeness.
Meditation brings innumerable benefits and lets you develop a new relationship with your mind that will transform your life. Slow Yin & Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra help the mind become less busy & consequently meditation becomes easier. The MidWeek Retreat is a great environment to start or deepen your meditation practice, experimenting with different meditation techniques and discovering what works for you.
Sound Therapy (gong bathing, shruti box, singing bowls) works at an energetic level, bringing healing & relaxation with little or no effort on the part of the participant.
